Category C (inshore) covers coastal waters, large bays, estuaries, lakes and rivers, in winds up to force 6 and waves up to 2 m. Composure begins at the first step. A stable tunnel hull, wide steps and a clear, open deck were designed as one, so each makes the others work.
Wide, generous steps at the bow give a confident footing as you board, and the bow rests directly against the pontoon or bathing platform for a steady transfer. Once aboard, the wide, flat deck is completely open, and side platforms make it easy to slip into the water for a swim and climb back out again. Steady hull, solid steps, a clear path to your seat: together they let you board and step ashore with complete composure.
Where many small craft slap and bounce, the Drift 340 glides. High-lift planing surfaces on the keels raise it onto the plane quickly, and a steeper deadrise reduces slamming, so the twin hulls cut through choppy water rather than slamming over it.
The glide protects everything before it: composure survives the chop, and so does style.
Solo or with two aboard, the Drift 340 takes care of itself. With more passengers, weight forward brings it onto the plane quicker, and weight aft once planing gives the best ride. When planing at the maximum load of 295 kg, ensure passenger weight is distributed further aft. Full loading guidance is in the owner’s manual.
A high bow lifts the Drift 340 up and over the waves, while the hull shape keeps spray at bay. You arrive at the beach, the restaurant or back at the parent vessel as composed as you left, and dry enough to want to keep going.

Catamaran hulls ride with and over the waves rather than rocking and slapping into them. Waves arriving from the side are designed to pass beneath the craft rather than come aboard.
Each oval side opening follows the trough between the bow wave and the stern wave. In normal operation, at slow speed or high speed, the wave forms run around the opening, not into it.
As the Drift 340 picks up speed, it rises out of the water, putting the greatest possible distance between the sea and the open sides.
The hull is designed to keep out spray it throws up itself. Wind-blown spray and breaking waves can still reach any open craft, so keep clear of breaking waves, especially side-on.
Most journeys in a craft of this size are made by two people, so the seating has been shaped around exactly that. Two people enjoy genuine comfort rather than a cramped compromise, with refined ergonomics that keep the ride composed.
When the day calls for more, the Drift 340 is designed to carry up to three adults, or two adults and two children.
Trim for a full load. Like any lightweight craft, the Drift 340 responds to the weight of the people aboard. When it is carrying its full specified load, ensure the weight is distributed aft of midships to ensure the nose isn’t held down and the craft rises onto the plane properly.

Removable side covers wrap the perimeter of the craft, protecting both your tender and your yacht’s hull from bumps and knocks as you manoeuvre and moor. Two removable bumpers protect the two points of the bow that meet the bathing platform or pontoon.

Foam-core, resin-infused construction delivers outstanding strength and durability at a fraction of the weight. The craft itself weighs under 100 kg (boat only, excluding engine and accessories).
On a solo run, your own body weight is close to that of the craft, so you steer and balance it with your body for a responsive, connected feel. At the water’s edge, slide it up the beach on its hulls, or fit the removable wheels and roll it in and out with minimal effort. Weight matters when beaching: a lighter craft is easier to get off the beach if you are caught in a difficult situation. Where a heavier craft means hauling and straining, you simply move it: composure and style do not end at the water’s edge.
